Your Boarding Checklist:
Preparing for Your Pet’s Vacation
We want every guest to feel at home from the moment they arrive. This guide outlines what to pack for your dog, cat, or small animal's boarding stay at SkyDance, so our team can provide seamless, personalized care.
Dog Checklist
What to Bring
- Pre-packaged food: We ask that all meals be pre-packaged in individual sandwich bags by meal (unless you're bringing wet food). Pre-packaging keeps your dog's routine consistent and their stomach happy, allows our caretakers to serve the exact portions they're used to at home, and helps us accurately track how much they're eating so we can be sure they're not skipping meals.
- Medication in the Original Bottle/Packaging: We ask that all medication be brought in their original containers to ensure your pet's safety. Original packaging clearly lists your pet's name, dosage, and instructions, allowing our trained staff to verify, handle, and administer each dose accurately so your pet receives their medication just as they do at home.
- Vaccination Records: We require all dogs to be up to date on Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations before arriving at SkyDance Pet Lodge. These vaccines protect your pet and every guest in our care. You may upload records directly to your online portal, email them to us, or bring in a printed copy before your reservation. Additionally, with your veterinarian's information on file, our team can request records on your behalf to simplify the process. While it's the pet parent's responsibility to keep vaccinations current, we'll always do our part to help keep things seamless.
Optional Items:
- Durable Hard toys (no squeaker, fabric, or plush)
- Your pet's favorite treats!
What We Provide:
- Bedding & Blankets: We use our own freshly laundered bedding and blankets to give each guest a clean, cozy rest. This allows us to maintain the highest standards of care, ensure your dog has fresh bedding every day, and prevent personal items from being lost or damaged.
- Food & Water Bowls: We provide stainless steel food and water bowls sanitized between uses to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
