Your pet’s morning routine begins with a quiet wake-up around 6 a.m., a potty break and a check-in from our team to ensure they’re bright-eyed and feeling their best. Our caretakers are focused only on our overnight guests, keeping the energy calm and comforting as everyone eases into their morning. Breakfast follows shortly after, prepared exactly how you do it at home using the food you provide; every detail matters for a consistent routine. We take our time to make sure your pet eats happily. Then they’ll get about an hour to relax and let their meal settle before heading into the day’s adventures.

After a full morning of activity, we pause in the afternoon to allow time for lunch, rest and decompression. If your pup came with a lunchtime meal or you added a snack or enrichment feeding, this is when it’s provided. Afterwards, everyone enjoys calm, quiet time to relax and recharge. Time in their individual rooms and a low-stimulation environment help dogs unwind at their own pace. This downtime isn’t just for naps; it plays an important role in supporting emotional balance and preventing overstimulation. Once rested, we transition into more structured group play, or for pups who prefer solo time, individualized outdoor sessions to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air.

If choosing multiple enrichment add-ons, your pup will also receive one-on-one time with an enrichment specialist in the afternoon! We have a variety of snacks, lick mats, and treat-based puzzle games to choose from and make downtime extra special.

As the day winds down, your dog enjoys dinner served just how they’re used to, with their own food, feeding routine and any medications from home carefully administered by our highly trained staff. Meals are served in their rooms using clean, fresh dishes we provide, giving each pup a calm, familiar space to eat and relax. After dinner, it's time for another bathroom break and some fresh air before settling down for the night. This part of the day is all about comfort, routine and gently preparing them for rest.

Your pet’s bedtime ritual begins around 8:00 p.m., starting with their final potty break of the day. Feedings, medications and any enrichment add-ons are carefully reviewed to ensure their day went according to plan. For dogs with bedtime enrichment, such as our Tuck-In Service or Bedtime Story, those comforts are offered now to help ease them into restful sleep. Our team then checks on every guest to ensure they’re cozy and settled on their beds with soft blankets provided by us. Once every guest is tucked in with a cuddle and a kiss goodnight, the lights are dimmed and the building settles into calm. Every detail is designed to end the day with comfort and a sense of home.

After tuck-in, our Supervisors or Managers complete a full walkthrough to check all guests are peacefully resting, all doors and gates are locked and the building is secure for the night.

Boarding Basics, Pricing & Other Pets
At SkyDance, all-inclusive pricing means everything your dog needs is already included. Playtime, meals, medication administration, fresh bedding, a complimentary Bye Bye Bath, and clean bowls are all part of the experience. There are no surprise add-ons or hidden fees. Just exceptional care, thoughtfully provided as our standard.
Please bring your dog’s food pre-portioned by meal, any medications in their original containers, and a standard leash with a collar or harness for entering and exiting the building. For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you avoid retractable leashes.
You are welcome to include treats, hard toys or chews (no plush or rope toys please), and any slow feeder bowls your dog requires. There is no need to bring dishes, beds, or blankets. We provide those for every guest and launder and sanitize them daily to ensure each suite stays clean, fresh, and comfortable.
Not a problem at all. If your plans change, just give us a call and we will happily extend your pet’s stay. Our team will ensure everything is taken care of so you can travel with peace of mind, knowing your pup is in the best hands for as long as needed.
Yes, absolutely. We provide high-quality kitty litter for all feline guests, but we know some cats can be particular about what they’re used to. If your cat has a preferred brand or type, feel free to bring it along. Our team is happy to accommodate their routine to help them feel right at home.
Our Bye Bye Bath is a complimentary vacation inclusion we provide to all boarding dogs before they head home. It’s a simple freshen-up bath using our Artero grooming shampoo to ensure your pup goes home clean after enjoying their stay with us. This is not a full groom and does not include any brushing or trimming. If you would prefer to skip the Bye Bye Bath, just let a member of our Guest Experience team know at check-in and we will make a note on your pup’s account.
Food, Feeding, Bedding & Comfort
While we do have food available for purchase, sold by the cup, we strongly encourage guests to bring their dog’s food from home, pre-portioned and labeled. Keeping your pup on their regular diet helps maintain consistency and avoids upset stomachs from sudden food changes. Staying on their routine, including what and when they eat, helps your dog feel more comfortable and at home while they're with us. If needed, we’re happy to accommodate special feeding instructions or dietary needs!
Absolutely! We encourage you to continue feeding your dog just as you do at home, whether dry food, canned food, raw or a combination. Maintaining your dog’s normal routine helps them feel more comfortable and settled during their stay. If you’re bringing canned food, there’s no need to pre-portion it. Just send it in the original cans and we’ll take care of the rest!
We know your dog may love the comfort of their bed from home, but we kindly recommend leaving it behind. One of the ways we maintain a clean and cozy stay is by providing fresh bedding that we can easily wash and replace as needed. Depending on the room type you choose, your pup will already have a comfy setup waiting for them! Our luxury suites feature a human bed with a cozy trundle, while our Unlimited Cabins come with a comfortable raised Kuranda cot with clean bedding provided daily. Your pup will be all set for a restful and sanitary stay.
Rooming, Overnight Care & Health
We do not have overnight staff on-site, which is common across our area, as 24/7 staffing is not considered the industry standard for pet lodging. Our dedicated caretaking team is here bright and early by 6:00 AM and stays with the dogs until around 9:00 PM, ensuring a full day of care, supervision, and enrichment. If your dog requires around-the-clock supervision due to medical needs or personal preference, we recommend exploring veterinary boarding services or trusted in-home care options to best meet those needs.
No problem at all! If your dog is used to sleeping in a crate at home, feel free to bring it along. We’re happy to set it up in their room and keep it open and available to them overnight.
At SkyDance, your dog’s safety is always our top priority. Because our suites and cabins are not monitored overnight, we do not allow dogs from separate households to share a room. Even friendly dogs can become stressed or unsettled in new environments, and sharing a smaller space without constant supervision can create unnecessary risk. We want every guest to feel safe, relaxed and well cared for during their stay!
Here at SkyDance, we offer FREE administration of medication. Medication is only administered by select staff members, all of whom complete extensive training so it’s done safely and correctly. At check-in, please provide us with medication instructions, as well as the medication in their original bottles or containers. This helps us keep your pup’s routine just like it is at home!
