We offer two distinct training paths: the HIVE Class Membership, an industry-first program providing ongoing, customized training in a dynamic group setting and our Core Curriculum Classes, structured six-week courses building skills at every stage.

HIVE Class Membership: The Future of Group Training

The HIVE Membership is unlike any other group class training program, providing ongoing, personalized coaching in a dynamic group setting. This membership offers access to our HIVE Classes and gives you FREE access to all Core Curriculum Classes, giving you the ultimate flexibility to attend classes around your schedule. Each HIVE class is led by a certified trainer who adapts the curriculum to the dogs in attendance so advanced and beginner-level dogs are appropriately challenged. The program thrives on collective learning—while each dog receives individualized coaching, the group works together to advance as a whole, creating an unmatched synergy in training.

$250 per month for one dog or $350 per month for a household

Core Curriculum Classes: Structured Learning, Lasting Results

Our Core Curriculum Classes provide structured, six-week training paths designed to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. With small class sizes from certified trainers, each course provides the guidance needed to achieve real progress. Whether you're establishing a solid foundation, preparing for advanced certifications, or looking to enhance your dog’s confidence and abilities, our Core Curriculum Classes offer a clear path to success. Core classes are available for independent enrollment or are included FREE with a HIVE Membership, giving you the flexibility to train in a way tailored to your goals.

S.T.A.R. Puppy Program

Give your puppy the best possible start with our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. This six-week class builds a strong foundation in essential obedience skills like leash walking, coming when called, sit and down while providing crucial early socialization. Designed for puppies up to one year old, this program helps shape well-adjusted, confident dogs while offering guidance for new owners. Puppies and owners who complete the class and meet the training and caretaking requirements will earn the AKC STAR Puppy certification, setting the stage for a lifetime of good behavior.

CGCA Prep Program

This course is designed to take your skills to the next level by building upon your previous training. Our focus will be on refining these behaviors by strengthening what is known as the 3 D's: Duration, Distance, and Distraction. Throughout the CGCA Prep course, we will delve deeper into these core elements, providing a comprehensive approach to training. To enroll in this advanced course, participants must have previously earned a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title or receive approval from one of our experienced trainers. The CGC title ensures a baseline level of obedience and socialization, creating a suitable foundation for CGCA Prep Program.

CGC Prep Course

Our CGC Prep Course lays the groundwork for a well-mannered, confident dog and prepares participants who wish to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test in the future. This program focuses on essential obedience skills like appropriate greetings, dog-to-dog interactions, sit, down, stay and loose-leash walking so your dog is prepared for real-world situations and public outings. It’s also an excellent stepping stone for those interested in therapy dog certification. Open to all experience levels, this course is customized to each dog’s individual progress.

CGC Urban Prep Program

Prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU) test with our six-week class designed to build confidence and reliability in real-world environments. This course goes beyond basic obedience, focusing on advanced skills like maintaining composure around traffic, crowds, loud noises and city distractions. Training takes place in real-world locations within 10 miles of SkyDance, including Brookfield Corners, local parks, patios and downtown Waukesha, exposing your dog to a variety of urban environments.

Cooperative Care Foundations Course

Make grooming, vet visits and routine handling stress-free with our Cooperative Care Foundations Course. Using positive reinforcement and consent-based training, this six-week class helps dogs become comfortable with brushing, nail trims, ear checks and medical exams. You’ll learn techniques to reduce stress, build trust and make everyday care a positive experience. Whether your dog is nervous about handling or you want to prevent future struggles, this class sets the stage for a lifetime of cooperative, worry-free care.

AKC Trick Dog Prep

Enrich your dog’s body and mind with our Trick Dog training class. Perfect for those aimed at earning an AKC Novice or Intermediate Trick Dog title. This fun and engaging class is perfect for dogs at all skill levels, offering a supportive environment to learn and master tricks. If your dog already has the CGC title, you're halfway to the novice title! Whether preparing for a title or simply enriching your dog's life with fun activities, this class will transform your dog into a trick-performing superstar.

Fit Dog Club: The Hiking Pack

The Hiking Pack is the second unit in our rotating Fit Dog Program and serves as a structured 6-week introduction to the world of hiking with your dog! This class is designed to help dogs and handlers enjoy the trail together. In this 6-week course, we’ll focus on leash skills, navigating common trail obstacles, long line recall, hiking safety and practicing polite trail manners around people, dogs, and distractions. Classes will meet at a different hiking location each week to give teams experience working in new environments. Locations will be within a short drive of SkyDance and may include local trail systems, nature preserves, and parks. Weekly meeting locations will be emailed to participants and shared in the class Facebook group.

Advanced Nose work

Continue exploring the world of nose work with our Advanced Nose work Class, designed for dogs who have completed our Nose work Foundations Course. This 6-week class expands your dog’s natural talent for scent detection and strengthens the teamwork between you and your pup. In this course, you will build on foundational searching skills and introduce more challenging searches. Dogs will work with all three odors and continue developing the confidence, problem-solving ability, and focus they began building in the foundations class. This class can be personalized to each dogs skillset and is a great fit for any dog who enjoyed learning nose work foundations.

Advanced Cooperative Care

Take your teamwork to the next level with our Advanced Cooperative Care Class. Designed for graduates of our Cooperative Care Foundations Course. This 6-week program deepens your dog’s ability to confidently participate in their own care. In this class, you will work on more complex skills that support grooming, veterinary visits, and at-home routines. Our trainers will guide you and your dog through advanced desensitization and participation behaviors. You’ll learn how to strengthen your dog’s choice-based communication and build resilience for real-world care scenarios. We will also tailor exercises to your dog’s unique needs, helping you turn stressful moments into calm, cooperative routines. By the end of the course, your dog will have the confidence to take a more active role in their care while you gain even more skills to support them with clarity and trust. This class is ideal for owners who want to continue to build off of the foundation course.
